Hooks should work together to drive curiosity with viewers. Stacking hooks can be really important for virality. For example, the first part of every video starts with 1) a noise (your voice or sound of the product), 2) text on screen, and 3) something visually appealing..

Visual Hook Ideas
ASMR element (audible hooks): the sound of the marker writing on the board before you reveal it. Maybe the board is facing you, or the camera is on you writing on the board.
Set the board down: start the video in action. You set the board down on the table. Then start filling it in (with discretion, of course)
On-Screen Text Hook (short, curiosity-driven captions)

WHY IT WORKS:
Starts with mild tension (spouse confused → viewer curious about what’s happening).
Feels relatable because parents often forget school dates or scramble for pictures.
